Aviation Management Qualification (UG & PG)

Bachelor’s Degree

Candidates can only pursue an undergraduate degree such as a BBA in Aviation Management if they meet the following conditions.

 

  • Candidates must have finished their 10 and class 12 grades from a recognised educational board (state board, CBSE, or ICSE).
  • To be eligible for the entrance exam/admission, the candidate must have a score of at least 50%.
  • Admission to aviation programmes differs from one college to the next. Before choosing a college, the individual must research the application procedure and eligibility requirements.
  • Some institutions have entrance examinations, while others select students based on their 12th grade grades.

Level of Postgraduate Study

 

  • Most colleges require a minimum grade of 50 percent in grades 10 and twelve. A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in economics or business with a math background is preferred.
  • An MBA in airline management requires a minimum of 2 years of expertise in the aviation industry.

Aviation Management Entrance Exams

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a test that MBA applicants must take in order to be considered for admission. For all categories, the CAT exam will last two hours. CAT consists of 100 questions that must be answered online. FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SPHIMR Mumbai, and more than 200 other institutions and universities in India recognise the CAT score. To take the CAT, candidates must have a 50-60 percent average in class 10 and 12.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level entrance test administered by AIMA, the All India Management Association, for MBA courses offered at over 600 educational institutions in India. The Graduate Management Admission Test is designed to assess a candidate’s abilities in mathematics, verbal communication, and analytical writing. Candidates must be 18 years old or older to take the GMAT. It is computer-based and consists of multiple-choice questions. National Aptitude Symbiosis A single MBA entrance examination for 16 symbiosis institutes is the online test. SNAP is an hour-long event.

The Xavier Aptitude Test is required for admission to XLRI’s MBA and PGDM programmes, as well as 160 other top MBA universities in India. In XAT, there are two papers. The first comprises 75 questions, while the second has 25 for the candidates. XLRI, Jamshedpur, conducts the examination online.
